Election night photos show Eric Trump, Jared and Kayleigh McEnany seemingly in shock

Footage captured by White House photographers on election night 2020 shows President Donald Trump’s inner circle absorbing the backlash that would ultimately result in a loss of 7 million votes for Joe Biden, with signs of tension gripping the room .

The images appear to show the grim results of Trump’s team of advisers, at least according to the reporter who posted them.

They provide a visual narrative to supplement the testimony the House of Representatives Jan. 6 committee presented on Monday — including statements from top Trump advisers who said they told the president his voter fraud allegations were false.

Among the moving scenes are photos of the president’s son, Eric, who helped run Trump’s business empire and whose wife, Lara, was a regular cheerleader for Trump at campaign rallies.

Eric Trump and Jared Kushner can be seen in intense conversation at the White House on election night as the returns trickle in that would ultimately make Joe Biden president

The image shows a bearded Eric inside the White House with what could be a stare from 1,000 yards on the returns.

Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner stares intently while holding papers.

The photos were published in ABC correspondent Jonathan Karl’s book Betrayal.

They “show the scene at the White House on election night,” Karl tweeted.

“Look at the faces – these people didn’t think they were winning.”

Another image shows a group photo, with aides crowded around several tables close together inside the White House.

There are signs of late night food, bottled water and a maze of computer cables.

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, seen in text messages he gave to the committee pushing election challenges, has his right hand over his mouth.

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany is seen in the corner with her hand on her hip.

She was featured in texts that Rep. Liz Cheney read aloud during Monday’s committee hearing between her and Fox News host Sean Hannity.

‘Key now. No more boobies,” Hannity wrote to her. ‘Yes. 100%,” she replied.

“No more stolen campaign speeches,” the Fox News host replied.

Lara Trump and Kushner can be seen staring at a screen in the photo, while Stepien studies a piece of paper.

During Monday’s hearing, Stepien and former Trump spokesman Jason Miller said they urged Trump not to declare victory as he did on election night, given the number of ballots in circulation.

“There were suggestions from, I believe it was Mayor Giuliani, to go and declare victory and say we won it,” Miller said.

He said Giuliani made it clear that “anyone who disagrees with this position is weak”.

But Miller also testified that Giuliani was intoxicated.

“These people didn’t think they were winning,” author Jonathan Karl wrote.

Said Stepien in videotaped testimony: “My belief, my recommendation was to say the votes were still being counted, it’s too early to tell, too early to call the race.”

Stepien told House investigators he heard Giuliani was “upstairs” in a reception area looking to “talk to the president” on election night.

He said there was a clash between “my team and Rudy’s team”.

“I didn’t mind being characterized as part of the normal team, as journalists started doing around that time… I’ve been doing this for a long time, 25 years, and I’ve been through political ideologies from Trump to McCain to Bush to Christie,” he said.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr testified that he told Trump his fraud allegations were “bull****”.

Trump gave an angry speech as the returns came in where he called the results a “fraud on the American public”, then stood by the charges for weeks and refused to attend Joe Biden’s inauguration.

The photos are included in Karl’s book, Betrayal, the Final act of the Trump show.

Giuliani denied being drunk and attacked Miller and Stepien.

“I am disgusted and outraged by Jason Miller and Bill Steppien’s (sic) true lie. I was upset that they were unprepared for the massive cheating (as well as other lawyers around the President). I have REFUSED all alcohol that night. My favorite drink…Diet Pepsi,’ he wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

Republican Panel Representative Liz Cheney tweeted released a statement on Tuesday quoting Barr as saying Trump’s fraud allegations were “complete nonsense.”
