File size of Battlefield 2042 Open Beta on PlayStation 5 is around 17GB

Earlier this week, EA announced the open beta phase of Battlefield 2042, which will take place on October 6 for pre-orders and October 8 for everyone else. Today we discovered the beta size on PlayStation 5, which will not require much free storage on your consoles. A very good move by EA, as the game would only include a few parts of the game, such as game modes and maps.

While the entire game should be around 100 GB, the open beta will require around 17 GB of hard drive space on the PlayStation 5. If we were going to talk about PC, the size between consoles and the PC constantly varies, which should be around 3 -5 GB of data differentiation.

Battlefield 2042 beta download on PS5 has a small cost. The Battlefield 2042 beta download size on PS5 is 16GB. That seems like a reasonable number, and we can probably expect it to be similar (more or less) across different platforms as well.

But what’s key for PlayStation consumers is that the Battlefield 2042 open beta on PS5 and PS4 consoles won’t require an active PS Plus subscription, meaning anyone can play it. On the other side, PlayStation’s competitor, Xbox, requires an active Xbox Live Gold membership to play.
