Film shooting means parking, traffic restrictions in parts of Kingston starting November 16 – Daily Freeman


KINGSTON, NY – A filming will restrict parking and traffic in certain areas of the city from Tuesday, November 16 and through Wednesday, November 24, according to an executive order issued by Mayor Steve Noble.

There will be no parking on the east side of Wall Street at meters 310-312 from 6 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, November 18.

There will be no parking from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, November 18 on West Strand Street between Broadway and Ravine Street, as well as on the municipal lot at 95 Dock Street.

There will be no parking as of 8:00 am Thursday, November 18 on the south side of North Front Street between Washington Avenue and the municipal parking lot entrance; the east side of Frog Alley between North Front Street and Schwenk Drive; the west side of Crown Street between North Front Street and John Street; and the east side of Green Street between North Front Street and John Street.

In addition, on Thursday, November 18, starting at 4 p.m., Green Street will be closed to traffic between John Street and Main Street.

From noon on Friday November 19 until 5:00 am on Saturday November 20, there will be no parking on the east side of Fair Street between North Front and John Streets; the north side of Main Street between Wall Street and Clinton Avenue; and on both sides of Wall Street between John Street and Main Street.

In addition, between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, November 19, Fair Street will be closed to traffic between John Street and Main Street.

From Saturday November 20 to Sunday November 21, there will be no parking on John Street at meters 404 and 405.

From Monday, November 22 at 6 a.m. to Wednesday, November 24, there will be no parking on Wall Street at meters 310-312.
