Several parts of Delhi received heavy rain on Monday with high winds causing power outages in several places in the city.
The change in weather brought much-needed respite to residents who suffered under a sweltering morning and scorching hot days. The rain was accompanied by roaring clouds and pleasant winds that swept through the city at a speed of 50 km/h.

Delhi had recorded a minimum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for the season, with the meteorological service forecasting cloudy conditions for the city on Monday.
The relative humidity at 8:30 a.m. was 63%. The maximum temperature should hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
Parts of the nation’s capital received light rain Sunday evening, with the maximum temperature standing at 40.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
