TEMPERATURES could soar up to 16C in parts of the country, but Met Eireann warned of “patchy light rain”.
The National Forecaster said it would be a mostly dry day, but there would be showers in western Connacht and western Munster.

Weather bosses said: “Any haze and fog will dissipate this morning.
“Most areas will remain dry during the day, but clouds will gradually increase over the western half of the country, bringing scattered light rain or drizzle to western Connacht and western Munster.
“Highest temperatures 12 to 16 degrees in a light to moderate south to southeast breeze.”
They said temperatures would drop to 3C overnight and warned of further showers.


Met Eireann said: “Mainly dry with a few clear spells and isolated light showers. Cloudy in the west and southwest for a while with scattered light rain or drizzle near the coast.
“Minimum temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees with light to moderate east to southeast or variable winds.”
While tomorrow temperatures are expected to soar to 17C with ‘sunshine forecasts’.
Met Eireann added: “Tomorrow will be mostly dry with sunny spells and just isolated showers.

“Highest temperatures 13 to 17 degrees with a moderate to cool east to southeast breeze.”
