IPOH: The Search and Rescue (SAR) team found more body parts and clothes belonging to the missing hikers from Gunung Suku on Tuesday May 17.
Perak fire and rescue department deputy operations commander Umrani Che Mat said the husbands of the victims confirmed that the clothes belonged to their wives.

“The pieces of clothing were found around 1:30 p.m. and the body parts were found at 4:30 p.m.
“We have not yet found any other objects that could help us find the victims,” he told reporters.

On Sunday May 15, Perak Police Chief Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the two victims, identified as See Su Yen, 32, and Ng Yee Chew, 46, from Cheras and Klang respectively, were believed to have been carried away while hiking on a trail. in Gunung Suku.
They were part of a group of 29 hikers.
The other 27 had returned safely to the foot of the hill.

On Monday May 16, the SAR team found human body parts, believed to be those of the two hikers, under a pile of wood at 10:20 a.m.
The SAR mission will continue on Wednesday May 18.
