The West Sonoma County Union High School District parted ways with its superintendent. On Wednesday, the board voted to buy out Toni Beal’s contract placing her on administrative leave. Additionally, they will bring in former Berkeley Unified School District superintendent Donald Evans as acting superintendent as they search for a permanent replacement. Beal had been in the district since July 2018 and was part of a group of school officials who suggested consolidating El Molino and Analy high schools as a cost-cutting measure.
